Halloween has come and gone, and now’s the time to think about the holiday season! Half the fun of the holidays is actually planning them.   • THE BEST TURKEY A holiday season without turkey on the menu? Not possible! And given that this year we want to help you celebrate with your people, we jumped at the chance to create the best-ever recipe by refining our methods, all the while favouring simple ingredients and known and loved flavours. Who’s the lucky one who’ll go home with leftovers?
  • WHAT WE’RE DRINKING: A CASSIS VERMOUTH! This deep red cocktail is as festive as the season. Light on the alcohol, it has a woodsy and slightly sweet side, but is well balanced. By mixing it in a shaker with an egg white, you’ll get a nice layer of foam at the top of the glass, which you’ll then sprinkle with sumac for a touch of acidity.
  • WE LOVE: MATCHA TEA COOKIES AND RED VELVET COOKIES We complete our love of the holiday season with this pair of red and green cookies. Both are made with the same fluffy butter and brown sugar batter, but matcha tea and pistachios have been incorporated into one, and red food colouring and a cream cheese filling have been added to the other. When placed by the tree, they may well disappear on the night of December 24!
